About Me:

I was born in Waco and raised in the wilds of Robinson. After surviving high school, I went to MCC and Baylor University. Since then I have worked as a health inspector, junior high teacher, tutor, writer, web designer, and general goof ball. And, yes, I do have a lot of stories about those first two :)

Currently, I work as an Instructional Designer at the University of Texas at Arlington's Center for Distance Education. I am also the one that started Edugeek Journal. I love to explore emerging technologies and how they can benefit education. I also recently received a Master's in Educational Technology from the University of Texas at Brownsville.

My beautiful wife Katie and I love to travel. Our favorite country to go to is India, but we have also been to Morocco, Germany, England, France, Spain, Jordan, the middle of nowhere, and back again. We really should go on The Amazing Race someday. I love to collect weird instruments in these countries and then inflict them on unsuspecting guests and my black lab, Jasmine. I also like drawing, science fiction, heavy metal, and going to church. Sometimes all at the same time.
